Former WWE star AJ Francis believes we haven’t seen the last of him in the company.

Better known as Top Dolla in WWE, Francis was a member of Hit Row alongside Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis, B-Fab, and Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott – now AEW’s Swerve Strickland. The group were big in NXT in 2021, and that October were drafted to SmackDown. Unfortunately, Hit Row was released less than a month later as part of a round of cuts related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

After spending time on the independent scene, Francis was brought back to WWE in August 2022 along with Adonis and B-Fab. Over the following months, Hit Row made waves in the tag team division but were unable to defeat The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Titles. In September 2023, AJ Francis was once again released from WWE.

Since then, Francis has become a regular fixture in TNA, where he is the reigning Digital Media Champion.

AJ Francis Will “Probably” Return to WWE

Despite his second run in the company being short-lived, Francis recently claimed on The Wrestling Classic that it was worth it. He also believes he will have another run in WWE.

“Absolutely, absolutely. The second run was worth it, and I’m telling you now, it’s probably not gonna be the last run. I have a good relationship with the people at WWE. I was backstage when they were in Houston just because I happened to be in town with Bun B. Bun wanted to come to the show, but he was booked. Then he ended up coming with me to TNA, and that was really cool.”
