EX-WWE Star Returns To AEW, Almost Put Through A Flaming Table

A former WWE Women’s Champion made her blockbuster AEW return and was about to be put through a flaming table as well. The star in question is Beth Copeland (fka Beth Phoenix).

Beth Phoenix is known for her time in the WWE. She has been a three-time Women’s Champion and one-time Divas Champion during her tenure.

Last year at the AEW All Out pay-per-view, Beth Phoenix also made her AEW debut, as she showed up to help her husband, Adam Copeland (fka Edge), and his partner Christian Cage defeat FTR in a tag team encounter. However, Beth Copeland was shockingly taken out by Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler right after her debut.

The former WWE Diva made her anticipated return to AEW

At the Double or Nothing 2026 pay-per-view, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage challenged FTR for the AEW World Tag Team titles in an I Quit match, where both Christian and Cope’s careers were on the line. The match turned brutal pretty quickly, and Stokely Hathaway also got involved to assist FTR. Nevertheless, the former WWE Diva, Beth Copeland showed up to even the odds.

However, she got outnumbered shortly after, and Cash Wheeler was about to put her through a flaming table just before she pulled Stokely to save herself. She also helped Christian and Cope win the AEW World tag titles at the end.

Only time will tell what’s next for Beth Copeland in AEW.
