Ex-WWE Champion Teases Return To Face AJ Lee: “We Have Unfinished Business”

This former WWE Star would love to get back to the ring now that AJ Lee is part of WWE.

AJ Lee returned to the Stamford-based promotion in 2025 after a decade-long hiatus and has since been feuding with Becky Lynch.

She first made Lynch tap out to her Black Widow submission at WrestlePalooza in a mixed tag team bout and later on two other occasions: Survivor Series: War Games and Elimination Chamber 2026 (For the Women’s Intercontinental Championship).

After becoming the IC Champion, Lee went on to have a few bouts before The Man attacked her once again, citing unfinished business. This led to a rematch between the two at WrestleMania 42, which Lynch won by cheating and became the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

AJ Lee is currently working part-time in WWE, and it has been reported that the creative team plans to use her talents for major PLEs and builds rather than have her on weekly shows.

One former star is excited to get back to the ring and is citing unfinished business with Lee, and that’s former Divas Champion Kaitlyn (Celeste Bonin)

Former WWE Star Kaitlyn Wants To Come Back To Face AJ Lee

Kaitlyn was part of a famous and intense feud with AJ Lee between 2012 and 2013 during the Total Divas era. The two were shown as best friends, but a heel turn from AJ Lee led to her betraying Kaitlyn and even defeating her for the Divas’ Championship in 2013.

The feud also brought about the popular “pipe bombshell” promo (wordplay on pipe bomb) by AJ Lee, in which Lee destroyed the Total Divas roster and insulted them for being Reality TV stars and not real wrestlers.

Kaitlyn has been away from wrestling since 2019 and was asked recently which star would make her get back to the ring for one more match, to which she answered with AJ Lee.

AJ has come back, my social media has never been so blown up over a comeback, and I feel like we have unfinished business.
