Ex-WWE Star After Serious Injury Scare: “You Can’t F**king Kill Me”
A former WWE star recently met with a serious injury scare.
Steve Maclin, who is currently signed to TNA, challenged for the promotion’s World Championship held by Mike Santana at the Sacrifice pay-per-view on Friday.
However, the main event was called off in its early minutes after Maclin took a superkick from Santana that knocked him out, bringing him to his knees.
After catching him in a dazed state, the referee stepped in and threw the X sign, signaling a legitimate injury. The referee then called for a medical professional to check on the challenger while telling Santana to back away.
TNA president Carlos Silva also made his way out to check on the ex-WWE wrestler.
As Maclin was being taken to the back, Eddie Edwards attacked Mike Santana, who fought back and hit a splash on him through a table to end the show.
TNA, meanwhile, honored referee Alice Lane for thinking on her feet and protecting an injured performer.
Elsewhere, Steve Maclin declared himself ‘bulletproof’ while also thanking everyone for their concern following the incident at Sacrifice.
Thanks everyone for the calls, texts, and tweets.
You can’t F**king kill me.
I’M BULLETPROOF. #MACLIN

TNA World Champion Set For WWE Appearance
Now that Mike Santana is done defending his title at TNA Sacrifice, his focus shifts to WWE.
The 35-year-old will appear on the upcoming NXT taping to team up with OTM when they face DarkState in a six-man tag team match.
OTM’s Bronco Nima and Lucien Price have been involved in a feud with DarkState for a few weeks. They even intervened during Dion Lennox’s match against Tony D’Angelo at Vengeance Day, preventing a potentially hazardous fate for the latter.
Santana confirmed his NXT appearance during OTM’s backstage interview with Sarah Schreiber.
