The final match of WWE RAW tonight saw a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship as Penta put his title on the line against the man from whom he won the title, Dominik Mysterio.

Mysterio lost the title to Penta a few weeks back and looked to get his hands back on the belt tonight. He made his way to the ring with Liv Morgan, but she was jumped by Stephanie Vaquer during the entrance.

The Women’s World Champion attacked Liv on the ramp and even punched Dominik once. However, Morgan recovered and sent Vaquer headfirst into the stage. The two women then brawled backstage as Dominik continued in his match.

Finn Balor makes his return to WWE RAW

In Liv’s absence, Dominik was accompanied to the match by his Judgment Day teammate, JD McDonagh. Dirty Dom started the bout well and earned the upper hand over the champion, with some help from McDonagh.

JD once again distracted Penta as he was about to go for a Mexican Destroyer. Dominik hit a 619 on Penta and was going for the win when Finn’s music hit, and Balor came out. He made his first appearance tonight since being kicked out of Judgment Day.

McDonagh immediately went after Balor, but he neutralized him on the ramp. This delay caused Dom to miss with his dive, and Penta earned the win via a quick roll-up to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Following the match, Finn attacked Dom with a Slingblade before hitting him with a shotgun dropkick. However, just when he was about to hit a Coup de Grace, JD pulled him from the ring. Dom ran through the crowd, leaving JD alone with Balor, who tore him apart in the ring.
