Ex-AEW Tag Team Officially Jumps Ship
A former AEW tag team has officially signed up elsewhere after leaving Tony Khan’s company.
For two years, AEW and Ring of Honor felt what The Righteous was digging. Mainly used as ROH talent, the team of Vincent and Dutch seemed to have a lot of promise with their cult-like characters, but things never really took off for them on Tony Khan’s watch.
The Righteous called time with those promotions in May 2025, and despite apparent WWE interest in the pair, they ended up appearing on TNA television. And now it looks like they’re here to stay.
Ex-AEW Pair Finally Sign With TNA
TNA issued a press release prior to Genesis, where the company officially announced that The Righteous had signed with the company:
The Righteous, one of the hottest tag teams in the wrestling business, have signed with TNA Wrestling, as first reported this morning during a Righteous interview with Denise Salcedo.
The Righteous made their jaw-dropping arrival in TNA Wrestling in December at TNA Final Resolution, as they confronted Jeff & Matt Hardy, leading to a series of cryptic mind games with the TNA World Tag Team Champions.
At the Genesis PPV, The Righteous challenged Matt and Jeff Hardy for the TNA World Tag Team Championship. The Hardys won that match to retain their gold.
