Edge To Compete In Huge First Time Ever Extreme Rules Match

WWE Hall of Famer Edge let The Judgment Day know he was back and looking for blood as he gets set to compete in an I Quit match at Extreme Rules.

The Judgment Day was formed at WrestleMania 38 when Damian Priest appeared at ringside during Edge’s match with AJ Styles. The distraction allowed The Rated-R Superstar to pick up a win over Styles and the partnership was born.

The duo soon became a trio as former Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley joined the group but things changed massively following Hell In A Cell. At that event, The Judgment Day defeated the team of Styles, Finn Balor, and Liv Morgan but the following night on Raw Balor joined the group as they turned on their veteran leader.

After trying to take Edge out of action completely, the star returned to Raw in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada after Damian Priest lost to Matt Riddle. With The Judgment Day attacking Riddle, Edge made the save and then challenged Finn Balor to a one-on-one match – the first time the two men will have squared off in one. Not only that, the former WWE Champion wanted the bout to be an I Quit match which will now take place in Philadelphia on October 8th at Extreme Rules.
