Drew McIntyre Makes Shocking Claim About Cody Rhodes’ WWE Character

Drew McIntyre has taken a shot at Cody Rhodes ahead of Elimination Chamber.

The Scottish Warrior has made it clear that he does not want to face The American Nightmare at WrestleMania 42. He believes he has liberated the Undisputed WWE Championship from the hands of WWE’s Golden Boy, and it should remain that way.

He stopped Cody Rhodes from winning the Royal Rumble men’s match, but could not stop him from qualifying for Elimination Chamber. McIntyre may interfere in the match to try to cost Rhodes the victory.

Drew McIntyre gives his two cents about the current Cody Rhodes

The Scotsman spoke to Adrian Hernandez at WWE’s 2K25 Creator Fest. In that conversation, he revealed that the show has become much more exciting, now that Cody Rhodes is at his edge, and is angry all the time. He further claimed that McIntyre is more dangerous as champion than Rhodes is when he is chasing.

The show is a lot more exciting right now. Much, much more exciting. Come on. It was the same every week. It was like watching repeat every week when Cody’s champion. Look at him now with his little edge, so angry the time right now. That’s my favorite Cody. They say Cody’s the most dangerous when he’s chasing, but you know what? Drew McIntyre is the most dangerous when I’m champion.

The winner of the Elimination Chamber men’s match will face Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 42 for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
