Dominik Mysterio is all over WWE these days and now he will be involved in one of the biggest matches of his career as NXT hosts its next PLE on July 30th.

On the July 18th episode of NXT, Dominik Mysterio won the NXT North American Championship in controversial fashion after getting plenty of help from his Judgment Day allies.

This week, Dominik appeared on NXT once again, and this time he took part in a verbal confrontation with now-former NXT NA Champion Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali.

As Ali berated Wes for falling into Dominik’s trap and losing his title as a result, Dominik let the two NXT mainstays argue amongst themselves. He then told them that he had no problem defending his new title against one or either of them, and then shoved Ali as he exited the ring.

Ali went for a clothesline but Dominik ducked and Ali hit Wes instead. Dominik and Rhea Ripley laughed as Wes and Ali fought in the ring, which forced the two men to stop their fighting as they realized they now had a common enemy in Dominik.

Shortly afterwards, another tweet went out confirming that Dominik would defend his NXT North American title against both Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali in a triple threat match at NXT: The Great American Bash.

That NXT event will be headlined by an NXT Championship match between Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov and will also feature Gable Steveson’s first match as a WWE superstar.
