MJF has finished filming his second big-screen appearance.

The AEW World Champion will make his movie debut in the upcoming Von Erich biopic “The Iron Claw” where he will play the role of Lance Von Erich. However, fans of the generational talent won’t have to wait too long to see him hit theatres once again.

As reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, MJF filmed a role for the upcoming title “Floaters,” which stars Seth Green, Steve Guttenberg and Aya Cash. The AEW star will play a musician in the future feature, with one member of the crew noting that “Max was incredibly sweet in person.”

At the time of writing, no further information has been published regarding the project, but it is noted that it was filmed at a Jewish summer camp in upstate New York.

MJF Set To Break Record

Still reigning as the World Champion for the promotion, Maxwell Jacob Friedman is closing in on the record for the longest singular reign with the title. The current record holder is Kenny Omega, who held the championship for 346 days. If Friedman can keep the Triple B in his possession until November 1st, he will make history as the new longest-reigning champion in the 4-year history of All Elite Wrestling.

The record looks to be a lock to be broken, as the next championship defence is not scheduled until November 18th, where Jay White will be the latest wrestler to attempt to dethrone The Devil at Full Gear.
