Nikki Bella has reportedly suffered a legitimate injury ahead of WWE WrestleMania 42.

The WWE Hall of Famer teamed up with her twin sister, Brie, last Friday against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss on SmackDown. They picked up the victory after Lash Legend interfered to strike Bliss behind the referee’s back.

After the tag match, the current Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Irresistible Forces, attacked all four competitors. Nikki was thrown out of the ring, where medics tended to her. After the show, reports claimed the former Divas Champion had suffered a legitimate injury.

Nikki Bella Has Sustained An Ankle Injury On WWE SmackDown

A recent report from PW Insider shed more light on the situation, revealing that Nikki Bella had rolled her left ankle during an exchange with Charlotte Flair.

The sources added that the WWE Hall of Famer got checked backstage after the segment, but the severity of her injury has yet to be revealed.

Despite Nikki’s injury, The Bella Twins are expected to make a return on RAW tomorrow night, according to another report from BodySlam.net.
