Under the ring name of Top Dolla, AJ Francis wants to be the host of “The Tonight Show.”

Playing in the National Football League (NFL) prior, Top Dolla signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2020, making his debut in NXT next year. He went on to form the Hit Row faction with Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, B-Fab and Ashante “Thee” Adonis.

Via the 2021 WWE Draft, the stable was placed on the main roster of WWE Friday Night Smackdown before ultimately being released by the company later that year in November. The next year on August 12, 2022, Hit Row returned to the company, as well as the blue brand. Outside of professional wrestling, Francis hosts A&E’s “WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures.”

Making an appearance on “Out of Character” for an interview with Ryan Satin, Top Dolla spoke about his career and that his goal is to eventually be the host of “The Tonight Show.” Dolla explained that he’s been working on his abilities on-screen since being a teenager in high school.

“I have one goal left. It’s to host ‘The Tonight Show’. That’s my end goal at the end of all of this, 20 years from now. That’s what I want to do.

I started, when I was in high school, doing videos, trying to make myself better on camera, being able to perform on camera, understanding how you should present yourself when presenting a scene as opposed to when you’re doing an interview, as opposed to when you are doing wrestling and it’s action, and you have to work different cameras at the same time. I’ve been teaching myself that since I was 14 years old. Now I’m 32, and it’s all coming to fruition.”
