Sol Ruca is the current WWE NXT North American Women’s Champion.

Ruca’s NXT run has been nothing short of incredible since her in-ring debut in June 2022. Coming from a gymnastics and tumbling background, she quickly impressed with her athleticism and unique move set.

Over her three years in NXT, she has won both the NXT Women’s North American Championship and the WWE Women’s Speed Championship, becoming one of the brand’s brightest stars.

She is a top competitor on NXT, still holding the North American Women’s Championship and continuing to develop her craft, steadily building momentum.

Sol Ruca Secures Her First Main Roster Victory on WWE SmackDown

Sol Ruca recently made a second appearance on the October 3 edition of SmackDown alongside her tag team partner, Zaria, in a tag team match against Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre of The Green Regime. The match was hard-fought and showcased Ruca’s incredible in-ring skills and chemistry with Zaria.

Despite Chelsea and Alba’s veteran tactics, the NXT stars executed a spectacular combination of offense. Sol Ruca secured the victory by hitting Chelsea Green with her signature move, the Sol Snatcher.

Though Ruca performed on SmackDown last week, she is not an official member of the blue brand roster. Given her incredible performance in NXT, many fans expected that Ruca would have been called up to the main WWE roster by now. But she has expressed satisfaction with her NXT journey and faith in the WWE officials.

In a recent interview with Going Ringside, Ruca said she trusts WWE to bring her up when the timing is right. She emphasized enjoying her current role, working closely with Zaria, and exploring her skills further on NXT.

“I completely trust them in their timing, you know? I’m not trying to rush my career by any means. Obviously, all of us want to get to the main roster as quick as possible, but I’m completely content being in NXT. I’m completely content doing my stuff with Zaria. We’re having so much fun right now. I definitely have so much more to learn, and I think when the time is right, it’ll be.”
