Braun Strowman returning to WWE has led to the Control Your Narrative promotion cancelling its upcoming tour amid a “re-evaluation” of the business.

Braun Strowman made his shock return to WWE on the September 5th edition of Raw, over a year after he was released by the company.

Strowman made his way to the ring during a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team match to determine the Number One contenders for The Usos’ Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship and laid out everyone involved.

Before his return, Strowman had partnered with EC3 to create their own promotion, naming it ‘Control your Narrative’.

During a recent interview with NBC Sports Boston’s Steve Fall, EC3 discussed the ramifications of Braun Strowman’s WWE return, saying CYN’s business would need to be “re-evaluated”.

“We’re dealing with the ramifications now because when you lose a top level name and a draw, you know, the business does have to be re-evaluated, especially from an outside perspective of our tour, like, that will not go on as planned.

“I’m trying to salvage an opportunity for some of these days to maintain, but as is, it was booked based on that availability, which is no longer there, and that’s okay because again, small infrastructure. Is that what we are, a travelling promotion? We could be. Are we ready to be? I don’t know.”

Braun Strowman was released from his WWE contract back in June 2021, despite having had a high-profile match against Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 37 just two months earlier. With his return, it looks like the Monster Among Men will be part of the Smackdown roster moving forward.
