Becky Lynch will go one-on-one against a beloved WWE star for the first time ever at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Sol Ruca debuted on the main roster after WrestleMania 42 and immediately challenged the newly crowned Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan. Despite her solid performance, she failed to beat the Judgment Day member.

The former NXT Women’s North American Champion later had an altercation with Becky Lynch after signing her official contract with Monday Night RAW. The 26-year-old shockingly took out The Man with a Sol Snatcher.

Last week, however, Lynch mocked Ruca backstage after the latter suffered another defeat in her second match on the main roster against IYO SKY.

Becky Lynch Refused To Fight Sol Ruca On WWE RAW

On tonight’s episode of RAW, Becky Lynch interrupted a backstage interview with Sol Ruca, urging the former Women’s North American Champion to return to NXT after losing her first two matches on RAW.

While Ruca did leave, she did not return to NXT. Instead, she headed to the ring to call out Lynch in front of the crowd at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Ruca challenged Lynch to a match tonight on RAW, but The Man refused. Instead, the Women’s Intercontinental Champion encouraged the 26-year-old to think about whether she was ready to face her. Lynch added that if Ruca believed she was ready, the two would square off at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The California native quickly accepted the challenge to for Saturday Night’s Main Event, promising to snatch both Lynch’s soul and the Women’s Intercontinental Title. However, The Man clarified that the title would not be on the line, claiming her rival had not earned a championship shot.
