CMLL Star Eyes WWE’s IYO SKY In Dream Match Scenario

A rising CMLL star has named IYO SKY as their dream opponent.

On the latest episode of WWE Raw, SKY paused her tag partnership with Rhea Ripley in an emotional segment.

After winning the Women’s Elimination Chamber match, Ripley became the #1 Contender to Jade Cargill’s Women’s Championship on SmackDown. The two superstars will square off at WrestleMania 42.

For SKY, meanwhile, it is about carving her own path as a singles competitor, something she has not done excessively since Crown Jewel in October last year.

The Genius of the Sky has experience competing in the singles division and is a 2-time former Women’s Champion on both Raw and SmackDown.

Elsewhere, CMLL star Kira has been making a name for herself in the Mexican promotion and has faced the likes of Persephone and Red Velvet thus far.

Kira Expresses The Desire To Face IYO SKY

While speaking during an interview with Fightful, the 22-year-old expressed her desire to face IYO SKY at some point. She also hoped she had gotten more time with Stephanie Vaquer in CMLL.

There are many rivals whose style I admire. I think Kira and Iyo Sky’s style, for example, is one of the ones I most want to go head-to-head with. Another one from the STARDOM roster, Starlight Kid, is very good, and I would like to have a match with her. If that’s not possible, I would also like to have a tag team match. I think we would put on an unforgettable show for the fans.

From the past, I think I would learn a lot from Dark Angel (Sarah Stock). Stephanie Vaquer, I wish I had had more time with her at CMLL to learn more from her experience in all the countries she has fought in. I would like to absorb a little bit of that learning. I am declaring that I want to have a match with Iyo Sky.
