Is CM Punk Reuniting With Paul Heyman On WWE RAW?

This past Saturday at Elimination Chamber, CM Punk made a Michael Jordan–inspired entrance in his hometown of Chicago.

Punk walked out to “Sirius” by The Alan Parsons Project, the iconic theme song of the 1990s Chicago Bulls. During the entrance, some fans noticed a shadow behind Punk, which immediately sent the internet into a frenzy.

Fans began speculating that WWE might be planting Easter eggs, with many suggesting that the shadow could have been Paul Heyman, hinting at a possible reunion between the two. The speculation was addressed on a recent episode of the Notsam Wrestling podcast.

CM Punk And Paul Heyman Are Not Reuniting

WWE analyst Sam Roberts quickly shut down the idea, stating that he does not believe WWE is planning any reunion between CM Punk and Paul Heyman.

Roberts explained that Heyman already has his hands full with Seth Rollins and The Vision, and suggested that the shadow was likely just a production crew member or someone holding lighting equipment. According to Roberts, there were no hidden messages or Easter eggs involved.

I’ve seen this stuff online that people were like, “Oh, there was a shadow behind Punk when he came out. There was this, you know, there like No, I think there was just a guy probably holding a light. This is like when they used to they like building up to WrestleMania 40, everybody was paying attention to what wrestlers were on what, you know, satellite trucks.

And I was like, “Guys, they’re just the trucks. I understand everything counts, and it’s fine that you ask about it, but no, there was no part of me that was watching CM Punk’s Chicago Bulls entrance, and I was like, “Yeah, but there’s Easter eggs there.”

I do not think that they were Easter eggs. I think it was just a shadow. You know what I mean? And I think that that stuff, it’s live TV. Stuff just happens sometimes. (From 1:00:14)
