CM Punk Fuels AJ Lee’s Return Rumors With Another Major Tease
Another AJ Lee tease from CM Punk.
CM Punk was robbed at the Clash in Paris on Sunday… robbed of a victory and a title. He was part of the fatal-four way match for the World Heavyweight Championship, where the champion Seth Rollins put his title on the line against LA Knight, Jey Uso, and Punk.
The closing moments of the bout saw The Second City Saint going to lock his victory with a second GTS to Rollins, but a mystery attacker came out of nowhere to attack Punk with a low blow.
The mystery person in the hood was none other than Rollins’ wife and the mother of his child, Becky Lynch. Capitalizing on the distraction, Rollins hit Punk with a stomp to steal the victory. The heel couple celebrated, while Punk was visibly frustrated with his devastating loss and remained on the floor after the match.
As he exited, fans noticed him stop and intently observe a sign that read “CM Punk, bring back AJ Lee,” clearly acknowledging the crowd’s excitement and speculation about his wife’s potential return. Plus, the post-show panel amplified interest among the AJ Lee stans, with Big E suggesting that Punk should bring in his wife to retaliate against Becky Lynch and face the Rollins-Lynch power couple together.
CM Punk Is Missing AJ Lee
As the next major event approaches, anticipation is at an all-time high, leaving fans and pundits eagerly watching for the next development. That said, amidst all these rumors and excitement, CM Punk has dropped yet another AJ Lee tease on his social media. WWE is still on its European tour, and The Best in the World, on his Instagram story, shared that he is missing his wife and dog Larry very much.
“Day nine. And we move. I miss my wife and little bubba. It’s too hard being away this long. This is tour,” he wrote.
