Chris Jericho Appearing In Major TV Show Amid AEW Absence
Chris Jericho will still be on a big TV show even if he remains out of AEW for now.
The last time Chris Jericho appeared on AEW television was nearly a year ago in April 2025, but the former AEW, ROH, and WWE World Champion is staying busy.
On social media, Chris Jericho announced that he’ll be appearing on the CBS television show Tracker, which is the number one show on network television, according to Jericho. Based on his description, Jericho will be playing a heelish type of character on the show.
Stoked to announce I’ll be playing the lead bad guy on this Sunday’s episode of #Tracker on @CBS , the NUMBER ONE SHOW on network TV!!! I play #VirgilDean and let’s just say, he’s not a nice guy. THIS SUNDAY at 9 pm EST!

Regarding Chris Jericho’s AEW contract status, reports earlier in March indicated AEW added time to his contract because they were legally allowed to do so because he missed several months of in-ring action and appearances.
Chris Jericho Recalls Great Rivalries While Fans Hope For WWE Return
The 55-year-old Chris Jericho recently spoke about some of the best rivalries of his pro wrestling career that have lasted over 30 years.
“Oh my gosh, I mean, it’s been 35 years, man, so there’s a lot of them.
“If you’re going WWE, the Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho feud from 2008 is one of the all-time great feuds for sure. I think Jericho vs Kevin Owens from 2016 was a great one.
“I think Jericho vs MJF from 2020 was a great one. The ones that are my favorite are the long builds that take six, seven, eight months. In order to go that long, it has to be something special, something magical.
“Those ones always stand out for me off the top of my head, because we had some time invested into it, and they did go the better part of a year.
“Actually, the MJF storyline was literally 366 days from beginning to end. That’s when you know when you have something good.”
Many WWE fans have been hoping to see Chris Jericho return to the company he spent nearly 20 years with, but it hasn’t happened yet, and there’s no confirmed report on when Jericho may make his return to WWE.
