Chris Jericho Agrees To Huge Rematch For AEW Revolution

Chris Jericho

Former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho will be in action at AEW Revolution against an opponent that he was adamant that he was going to face again.

On the 4th of January edition of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho took on Ricky Starks in a one-on-one match. Starks ended up pulling out the win, giving Jericho his second loss in a row after Le Champion previously lost in a huge upset to Action Andretti.

Despite that, Starks has been on the receiving end of The Jericho Appreciation Society and was forced to go through the entire group to get his hands on Jericho again. Something that Starks eventually achieved.

Chris Jericho had been refusing to grant Ricky Starks a rematch but on Dynamite in Phoenix, the former FTW Champion appears to have got his way.

Starks announced on the show that he was issuing an open challenge for Revolution on March 5th, leading to Jericho coming out to confront him while remaining adamant he wasn’t going to be the one to face Starks and wished him well with the open challenge.

However, Ricky Starks managed to talk Jericho into facing him once again with the stipulation that the meddlesome JAS will be barred from ringside, something that Chris Jericho eventually agreed to and he signed on the dotted line to face Starks once again.
