Chris Jericho finally put an end to months of chaos with his rival at AEW Double or Nothing after surviving a brutal Stadium Stampede match alongside The Hurt Syndicate and The Elite.

Since Jericho’s return to AEW TV earlier this year, Ricochet had constantly targeted him. The rivalry became personal quickly, with The One and Only repeatedly attacking Jericho backstage, interrupting his promos, and blaming him for holding younger stars back. Using the numbers game of his newly formed faction, The Demand, Ricochet consistently blindsided Jericho in brutal three-on-one assaults.

Ricochet scored a clean win against Jericho at AEW Dynasty, which led to a heated verbal confrontation on the May 6 episode of Dynamite, where Ricochet challenged The Lionheart to a Stadium Stampede match, which Jericho accepted.

Tonight, at AEW Double or Nothing, Jericho’s star-studded mega-alliance, consisting of The Hurt Syndicate and The Elite, faced off against The Demand, The Don Callis Family, and The Dogs.

The action instantly spilled out of the ring and into the concourses, concession stands, and tunnels of the stadium.

Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin used their powerhouse strength to launch Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona directly through merchandise tables, while The Young Bucks and Jack Perry executed high-flying superkicks off stadium railings onto Clark Connors and David Finlay.

Meanwhile, Kenny Omega traded heavy strikes with Andrade El Ídolo near the entrance ramp. Ricochet nearly changed the match after landing a huge shooting star press onto multiple stars outside the ring.

However, in the closing moments of the bout, The One and Only and Y2J came face-to-face. Ricochet attempted another high-flying attack, but Jericho countered at the last second with the Judas Effect.

Bishop Kaun intervened to save Ricochet. He took a 7-way superkick from Team Jericho, and The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla hit him with the Lionsault for the pinfall for the win.

For the first time since returning, Chris Jericho finally stood tall over the man who had haunted him for months.
