Chris Jericho has commented on speculation about his AEW future.

Back in 2019, Chris Jericho was one of the first stars signed by All Elite Wrestling before going on to become the first AEW World Champion. Since then, the veteran has been an ever-present on AEW television working with the likes of MJF, Eddie Kingston, and Jon Moxley to name just a few.

However, Jericho’s star never shone brighter than when he worked for WWE, where he spent the majority of his career. This means there has always been an expectation among some fans that he’ll return to the company one more time before he retires.

Despite this, the man himself says he has no plans to go back. Appearing on Gabby AF, Jericho said he hasn’t thought about returning to WWE.

“I had a great 20 years there, but I’ve had a great going on five years here in AEW; I love working here, like I love working with Tony Khan. And WWE is completely different animal now than it was when I left in 2017… So it’s not something that I really thought about.”

Speaking back in December, Chris Jericho said he “doesn’t understand” the WWE Hall of Fame, adding it doesn’t matter if he’s ever inducted.

Chris Jericho Discusses Support For Young Talent

During his conversation with Gabby LaSpisa, Chris Jericho hit back at the common criticism that he doesn’t enhance young talent.

Jericho said he always tries to elevate young talent, and he usually succeeds. He went on to say that the likes of Orange Cassidy, Daniel Garcia, and Konosuke Takeshita all benefited from working with him.
