Charlotte Flair made a statement on social media after some wild rumors appeared about her father, Ric Flair.

The 2-time WWE Hall of Famer and 16-time World Champion Ric Flair loved the pro wrestling business as much as anybody. It’s why he wrestled into his 60s and even had one final match in July 2022, which did not go well.

That final match didn’t go well because Flair legitimately passed out while standing on the apron. Flair has claimed a heart attack and dehydration, but he’s also a man in his 70s who spent nearly a decade in the late 2010s, so being in a pro wrestling match was a bad idea in the first place.

Even though he shouldn’t be thinking about wrestling at the age of 76 (his 77th birthday is on February 25th), Ric Flair made a statement during a recent live signing that he would wrestle Ricky Morton for the right money.

Somebody wants me to wrestle Ricky Morton now.

Easily. Thinking about it.

Yeah. Not that far from—way off on financial terms, of course.

Sometimes I need something to motivate me, man. Just to go to the gym every day for nothing is…

After Flair made those comments, he went on social media the next day to promote an upcoming event and wrote:

“Let Me Clear Something Up! I Will Never Wrestle Again.”

The “Nature Boy” Ric Flair isn’t the only one saying he will never wrestle again. Charlotte Flair, who is a 14-time WWE Women’s World Champion and a future Hall of Famer, also made a comment on X to make it clear that her father won’t wrestle again.

Flair simply wrote: “Absolutely not.”

Regarding her own WWE career, Charlotte Flair is focusing on her tag team with Alexa Bliss. The duo are former Women’s Tag Team Champions, and are hoping ot regain the titles again this year.
