BREAKING: Ex-Champion Ruled Guilty Of Domestic Violence & Attempted Femicide Against WWE’s Stephanie Vaquer
Amid Stephanie Vaquer’s WWE absence due to an injury, a major update has emerged regarding her criminal complaint against a former partner.
A couple of years before Vaquer became a part of the Stamford promotion, she was a regular in CMLL and was in a relationship with Cuatrero, whose real name is Rogelio Reyes.
On March 4, 2023, she filed a complaint against Reyes, accusing him of choking her and throwing her against a wall. On March 10, he was arrested in Mexico under charges of domestic violence and attempted femicide.
After being denied parole in June 2024, he was released in March 2025, after nearly two years in preventive detention, pending further prosecution.
Earlier this year, he spoke to Nuestra Santa Voluntad, where he shared his side of the story and accused Stephanie Vaquer of assaulting him.
But then, when she found out I filed one, instead of waiting for her rectification date, she acted the next day.
The events happened on March 3, early morning. I remember because I had gone to the movies with a friend — the premiere of Creed — at Parque Delta. There were plenty of people there. She pulled me out of the theater violently and took me back to her apartment.
Stephanie Vaquer’s Ex Found Guilty Of DV & Attempted Femicide
Since his release in March 2025, Cuatrero has been awaiting judgment in the complaint filed against him by Stephanie Vaquer.
On May 5, Mexican crime journalist Antonio Nieto took to X to reveal that Rogelio Reyes was found guilty of domestic violence and attempted femicide.
His sentencing is scheduled for May 12, which is the same day the court will hold the audiencia de individualización de la pena to determine his prison term.
Cuatrero had recently returned to wrestling by making an appearance in AAA Lucha Libre in February 2026. AAA was acquired by WWE in 2025.
Stephanie Vaquer, on the other hand, lost the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42.
On April 27, she was attacked by the women of The Judgment Day, causing her a second-degree ACC sprain on the left shoulder. She is expected to be out of action for some time.
