Bryan Danielson Will Allegedly Leave AEW For WWE Return
Bryan Danielson will finish the last stretch of his career in WWE, feels WWE legend.
Bryan Danielson currently works as a commentator in AEW following his retirement from in-ring action in 2024.
Due to ongoing neck issues, he dropped the AEW World Title to Jon Moxley at WrestleDream 2024. He has been with the Tony Khan-led promotion since 2021 after his WWE contract expired.
Despite WWE’s attempts to renew his contract, Danielson would leave for AEW, and his last WWE run between 2018 and 2021 saw him win the WWE Title and SmackDown Tag Team titles. This run was his final in WWE after he had initially retired in 2016 due to concussion-related injuries.
His wife, WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella, recently returned to WWE at Royal Rumble 2026. Fans had speculated that Brie’s return to WWE could be complicated due to her husband’s ties with their rival promotion, AEW, but her return and subsequent reunion with twin sister Nikki Bella have sparked debates over Danielson’s future as well.
Bully Ray Believes Bryan Danielson Will End His Career In WWE
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray (aka Bubba Ray Dudley) said he thinks that Danelson will definitely come back to WWE to finish his career alongside his wife, Brie.
How long do you think it is before Danielson comes back to WWE?
He’s definitely coming back to finish out his career with his wife in the WWE.
