Unfortunate Update On Bron Breakker’s WWE Future Following Injury

Bron Breakker

Bron Breakker has been sidelined indefinitely after suffering a serious hernia injury and emergency surgery.

According to reports, the injury occurred on the February 2, 2026 episode of Monday Night Raw when Breakker flipped over the announce table in a fit of rage after he was screwed over by the masked attacker during the men’s Rumble match at the Royal Rumble in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Earlier reports suggested that WWE was optimistic about his recovery, with hopes that he could return within four to six weeks. That timeline would have potentially allowed Bron Breakker to compete in his rumored WrestleMania 42 match against Seth Rollins.

Bron Breakker Might Miss WrestleMania 42

However, a new report from Bryan Alvarez on the February 10, 2026 edition of Wrestling Observer Live indicates that WWE now believes Bron Breakker will not be able to return in time for WrestleMania 42.

“One would think he would be on the shorter end of the recovery scale since he’s in his 20s, but it was a serious surgery. All I know is that within WWE there’s a feeling he isn’t going to be back by WrestleMania 42. He’s going to be out for a while, so we’ll see.”

Bron Breaker’s rival and rumored WrestleMania 42 opponent, Seth Rollins, is also currently out of action. The Visionary suffered a shoulder injury during his singles match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel last year.

It has been reported that Seth Rollins is gearing up for a return at WrestleMania 42. As mentioned earlier, he was originally set to face Bron Breaker at the event. However, with Bron Breaker now sidelined due to injury, it will be interesting to see how WWE chooses to continue the storyline between Bron Breaker and Seth Rollins.
