Brock Lesnar “Absolutely Hates Triple H,” Says WWE Veteran
A former WWE name claimed that Brock Lesnar hates Triple H. The veteran who made the claim is none other than Vince Russo.
Brock Lesnar seemingly retired from in-ring competition after he lost to Oba Femi in an under-5-minute match at WrestleMania 42. The Beast Incarnate left his boots in the ring at Mania as a potential sign of hanging up his boots while getting emotional.
Meanwhile, Vince Russo presented a theory on why Lesnar did what he did after his loss to Oba Femi at Mania.
Vince Russo thinks Brock Lesnar hates Triple H
Speaking on his YouTube channel recently, Russo claims he heard Brock Lesnar absolutely hates the WWE CCO, Triple H:
I hear that Brock Lesnar just absolutely hates Triple H. And I can see that Triple H has put himself in a position for people to hate him. Remember the Bret Hart–Steve Austin role—he has put himself in a position to be hated. He has put himself in the forefront of everything. He has put himself first in front of his own talent, and a lot of times in wrestling, that is a no-no.”
Vince Russo further criticized the Triple H-led creative for WrestleMania 42 and said that Lesnar apparently retired on his own because he doesn’t respect Triple H:
There’s got to be, at this point, a lot of finger-pointing, man—a lot of finger-pointing. And even to the point of what it looks like of Brock Lesnar saying, ‘Man, I need out of here.’ I mean, if the Brock Lesnar thing is a shoot and nobody knew about it, and he didn’t smarten up Triple H, that means he has zero respect for Triple H. Zero—none, bro.”
Russo also compared Triple H’s creative regime with Vince McMahon’s regime:
Can you imagine one of the talents pulling that on Vince McMahon, bro? That would have never happened. You wouldn’t have even dreamed of doing something like that, bro. You would have been gone so fast—Vince would have blackballed you, man. He would have made sure you never worked anywhere again.”
In conclusion, Russo claimed that Brock didn’t know what Triple H was going to do with him, so he called it off at WrestleMania 42:
But I guess in Brock Lesnar’s case, if it is indeed a shoot, Brock’s simply asking the question—what is Triple H going to do? And I would also think that Triple H would have to be at a point of vulnerability—him being very vulnerable at that point. And maybe Brock does something like that because he feels it’s the nail in the coffin.” [h/t Ringside News]
