Breaking: Pat McAfee Injured & Stretchered Out Of WWE WrestleMania 42

The main event of Night One of WWE WrestleMania 42 was a match that the fans were eagerly looking forward to ever since the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, returned to the promotion.

Cody Rhodes faced the prospect of not having a match at WrestleMania 42 after he lost the Elimination Chamber match, but instead defeated Drew McIntyre to become the Undisputed WWE Champion and set up a clash with his former mentor, Randy Orton.

While he expected it to be a professional match against his mentor and friend, it quickly became personal after the Viper turned on him and aligned himself with Pat McAfee just weeks before the Show of Shows.

Pat McAfee’s WWE WrestleMania night was cut short

Pat was present by Orton’s side and immediately got in on the action as he attacked Cody with the microphone right before the bell rang. He ganged up on Rhodes along with Orton, but the American Nightmare got the last laugh ultimately.

He hit McAfee with a CrossRhodes before setting him up on the announce table. He was aided by Jelly Roll, who hit an elbow drop on the former WWE commentator, taking him out of the equation.

McAfee had to be stretchered out of the arena after the attack, leaving Randy Orton alone in the fight against his former friend as he looks to become a 15-time World Champion in WWE.
