BREAKING: NEW WWE Champion Crowned At NXT Great American Bash

NXT Great American Bash 2026 will go down in history as the first-ever Premium Live Event to be aired live on the CW Network, and WWE went all out to make it a huge show.

The card for tonight featured five separate title matches and two massive grudge matches to keep the crowd entertained. Moreover, the show also witnessed Kevin Owens make his WWE return in over a year.

The entire card was sandwiched between the two NXT Championship matches as Tony D’Angelo kicked off the show, and Lola Vice seemed set to end the night as she defended the NXT Women’s Championship in the main event against Kendal Grey.

Vice and Grey met each other at Stand and Deliver earlier this year and competed in a triple threat match against Jacy Jayne for the title. Lola came out on top in the match, defeating Jayne and Grey in the process.

Since then, Kendal worked extremely hard to get another shot at the title, and she gave it her all against Lola tonight. She had Wrenn Sinclair come to her side to cheer her on as well, but she was chased away by Kelani Jordan.

Lola and Kendal traded momentum throughout the match and began trading massive slams as the match headed towards a close. Vice took Kendal out with a spinning backheel kick and then hit a massive senton from the apron to the ground.

Grey caught her in an ankle lock almost immediately before applying it in the ring as well. Lola got out of the hold and trapped Grey in the ankle lock before both women started trading one submission hold after another.

Lola went for a spinning backfist and Grey ricocheted off the rope and hit a spinning elbow. The match nearly finished in a double pin but both women kicked out at the last minute.

Vice went for another spinning backfist on Grey, but she ducked out the way and hit the Shades of Grey from the top rope to pick up the win and become the new NXT Women’s Champion.
