AEW hosted a special episode of Dynamite tonight, which aired the special edition titled Spring BreakThru. Tony Khan stacked up the card with as many as three title matches.

Tonight’s episode even featured a segment that showed Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay in a candid discussion following their losses at Dynasty this past Sunday.

While Omega lost the AEW World Championship match to MJF, Ospreay wasn’t able to dethrone Jon Moxley as the Continental Champion at the same show. The night then turned to one of Moxley’s close allies.

Claudio Castagnoli loses a title match on AEW Dynamite

His tag team partner and stablemate, Claudio Castagnoli, was tasked with the opportunity of earning more gold for the Death Riders. Castagnoli took on the newly-crowned TNT Champion, Kevin Knight, tonight.

Many members of the Death Riders were part of the TNT Championship Casino Gauntlet match, and Daniel Garcia even came extremely close to winning the belt.

Garcia almost had Speedball Mike Bailey tapped out before Kevin Knight hit a huge UFO Splash to win the title this past weekend. He achieved a similar result against Castagnoli and emerged successful in his first title defense on Dynamite.
