Bray Wyatt’s WWE Return: Social Media Reaction
There has been a wide range of reactions on social media to Bray Wyatt’s WWE return at Extreme Rules, from shocked to overjoyed.
Over the last few weeks, there have been plenty of teases of a ‘White Rabbit’ in WWE and the speculation became increasingly strong that ‘The Eater Of Worlds’ would be the one making a return when they reached their culmination. At the end of the Extreme Rules Premium Live Event, the speculation was confirmed as Bray Wyatt made a dramatic return to the company which released him last year.
Where many of the returns to WWE over recent weeks, such as the likes of Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae, have been a surprise element to the show, the planning and hype around the return of Bray Wyatt meant that the fans both in attendance at home were highly anticipating what might happen.
Since the return, ‘The Eater Of Worlds’ has responded to one fan on social media, a mother who took a video of her child at the point Wyatt returned having stayed up all night. This led to Wyatt publicly commenting that this is the reason he has returned to WWE.

Alexa Bliss also released a brief comment on the appearance, whilst Ricochet likened the reaction to the former two-time Universal Champion to a ‘Road Warrior Pop‘. Johnny Gargano simply showed how shocked he was.

Although Wyatt initially walked on to the stage wearing a mask, he did reveal his face which would indicate that he is going to compete under that name rather than making an immediate return to The Fiend character. At present, there is no formal information on the direction he will be taking in the company which he has now returned to following his release in July 2021.
