Bloodline Member Admits Being Fined By WWE: “Lesson Learned”
A Bloodline member has come out and admitted to being fined by WWE recently.
Tama Tonga was held in contempt by the promotion’s higher-ups as having breached its unwritten policy of sharing behind-the-scenes stills on his social media account.
A few days ago, the current member of the MFT faction uploaded a video on his Instagram story, which showed an empty arena, only occupied by the company’s staff and talent.
The rehearsal video, which he recorded ahead of a SmackDown taping, showed Triple H, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and several other names in the ring, potentially discussing Orton’s heel turn.
A report by Andrew Zarian of Mat Men later claimed that WWE had reprimanded the 43-year-old member of the Bloodline, hitting him with a hefty fine.
A later report by Fightful Select revealed that Tama Tonga had been fined “in the five-figure territory.”
Tama Tonga Confirms WWE’s Fine
Tama Tonga is one of the most active wrestlers on social media.
Despite his no longer having any kayfabe association with Jacob Fatu, the two superstars were recently seen on a video, again shot by Tama, casually discussing their lives.
Tonga recently took to X to confirm that he had been fined by WWE, although he did not verify reports of the amount. He also admitted that he had learnt his lesson and it was time to get back to work.
Thanks for joining the live.
As addressed, yes I was fined – deserved.
I knew better- a careless mistake. -Lesson learned.
Take the hit and move on.
Back to work.
On last week’s SmackDown, the MFT duo of Tama Tonga and JC Mateo lost the tag title to R-Truth and Damian Priest.
This led to them receiving a tongue-lashing from the faction’s leader, Solo Sikoa. Tama, in turn, accused Sikoa of sounding like the former leader of the Bloodline, Roman Reigns.
Tama has also been involved in a storyline with Shinsuke Nakamura.
