Big E Reunites With The New Day For First Time Since Injury

Big E with The New Day

All three members of The New Day have reunited onscreen for the first since Big E suffered a serious neck injury.

On March 11th, 2022, Big E was accidentally dropped on his head during a match, resulting in him fracturing his C1 and C6 vertebrae. Since then, the New Day man has been at home recovering, although he also recently helped out with WWE tryouts that took place during SummerSlam weekend.

Since November 2020, Xavier Woods has been a host on G4 TV, so it was only a matter of time before his New Day teammates Kofi Kingston and Big E made their own appearances on the network.

In a spoof commercial for ‘Fully Opposable Action Humans’ on G4’s Attack of the Show, Will Neff and Case Blackwell played with pro wrestling action figures when The New Day appeared and turned Blackwell into an ‘Action Human’.

Neff could use the ‘Action Human’ however he liked including attacking him and forcing him to recite one of over 10 sayings, like “No! I’m a sentient adult child!”

Back In July, Big E revealed that he is expected to make a complete recovery from his neck injury and will not require surgery. However, there is still a long way to go on his road to recovery, with his next evaluation coming in March 2023.

At this point, he says doctors will hopefully be able to give a clear answer for how long he will be out of action.
