Becky Lynch Laughs Off PWI 250 Ranking

Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch doesn’t think much of Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Women’s 250 list.

On October 18th, PWI unveiled the 2023 Women’s 250. The evaluation period for the list runs from October 1, 2022 – September 15, 2023. The ranking is determined by a number of criteria including win-loss record, technical ability, influence on the sport, activity, quality of opposition, and diversity of opposition.

Rhea Ripley took the top spot, and fellow WWE star Bianca Belair landed third.

This list always generates much debate among fans and even wrestlers themselves. One person who seems less than impressed with their ranking is Becky Lynch, who landed at number 29.

During the evaluation period, Lynch appeared in the women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series, won the Women’s Tag Team Titles, becoming the sixth women’s Grand Slam winner in the process, had a long-running feud with Trish Stratus, and won the NXT Women’s Title.

Posting on social media, Lynch quoted a post sharing her ranking with a laughing emoji and a plug for her book.

You can find the top ten below.

1) Rhea Ripley
2) Giulia
3) Bianca Belair
4) Jamie Hayter
5) Tam Nakano
6) Athena
7) Deonna Purrazzo
