Becky Lynch Getting New WWE Theme Song

Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch will be debuting a new WWE theme song after using an iconic tune for over a decade.

The WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion and future Hall of Famer Becky Lynch has used the song “Celtic Invasion” during her legendary WWE career, but that’s about to change.

CFO produced that “Celtic Invasion” song and it’s one of the more popular theme songs of this generation because it gets the crowd involved as they show support to Lynch.

In her current WWE role, Lynch is one of the top heels in the women’s division, so perhaps she felt it was time for a change. Fightful Select reports that Lynch is expected to get a new song imminently.

Becky Lynch’s new song was completed by a band called The Wonder Years. It was completed several months ago and a plan has been in place for Lynch to use it on WWE television. Fightful also noted that this will be Lynch’s first theme song that will have full on lyrics.

Fightful added that the new theme has “The Man Has Come Around” intro in the original cut.

Becky Lynch Has A Lot Of History At WWE SummerSlam

At WWE SummerSlam Saturday on August 2nd, Becky Lynch will defend the Women’s Intercontinental Title against Lyra Valkyria in a match that will have no countouts and no disqualifications.

Becky Lynch recently spoke about her history at SummerSlam while noting that this year’s match will be her first SummerSlam match in three years.

“It was my first PLE. It was where the infamous slap happened that really catapulted my career. It was also where I came back after I had my daughter and beat Bianca Belair in 26 seconds. And then a year later we were tearing the house down and then fighting side-by-side. I’m kind of blown away that it’s been three years since I wrestled at a SummerSlam.”

You can watch SummerSlam on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, streaming live at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT on Peacock in the United States and on Netflix everywhere else.
