Bayley Set To Reach Marquee WWE Milestone

As 2023 edges ever closer, Bayley is gearing up to celebrate a very impressive record that even The Rock and Trish Stratus failed to achieve.

Officially signing with WWE in December 2012, Bayley has enjoyed an incredibly lucrative career. ‘The Role Model’ was the first female Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion, is a Money in the Bank winner, the longest SmackDown Women’s Champion, and was the first Superstar to defend a women’s title in Saudi Arabia.

Her career certainly holds up when compared to icons of WWE’s past, such as The Rock and Trish Stratus. One record neither of those two legendary figures has, though, is a 10-year WWE career. Bayley soon will, a record she’s proud to soon be in possession of as she detailed on the Five Count podcast:

“They’ve [The Rock and Trish Stratus] both come back, and these guys come back and do things here and there, but to be in WWE consistently for 10 years is just a dream come true to me. And to feel like I still have things to contribute and things I can do to help the women’s division and the company as a whole is just awesome. It’s been the greatest dream come true.”

Continuing, Bayley acknowledged goals still left for her to accomplish, namely the headline spot at WrestleMania:

“I still haven’t main-evented WrestleMania, and I feel like that’s a big deal to everybody, especially because it’s been done a couple of times now in the women’s division. I would love to do that, or just have a singles title match at WrestleMania. [I] would love to win the Royal Rumble, but those are just like little things.”

Bayley officially debuted for WWE during an untelevised NXT live event on 24 January 2013, teaming with Charlotte and Paige in defeating Audrey Marie, Emma, and Summer Rae.

Given the date of her first WWE match, she may be able to celebrate as the sixth women’s Royal Rumble match victor, with the annual over-the-top-rope extravaganza occurring on Saturday, 28 January from San Antonio’s Alamodome. Presale tickets are currently available for the event using the code TWEETS.
