WWE Women’s Grand Slam Champion Bayley has given several hints about her injury status on social media.

Former Raw Women’s Champion Bayley has been on the injury list since suffering a torn ACL while training ahead of an ‘I Quit’ match against Bianca Belair that was scheduled to take place at Money in the Bank in July 2021. The injury was originally expected to keep the Role Model on the shelf for nine months but it has now been almost a year since she was sidelined.

For the past few months, Bayley has been teasing fans on social media with hints of a return, most recently posting a close-up of one of her ring boots on June 8th. However, the star has indicated she is still dealing with the injury in recent posts, putting her return timeframe in further doubt.

NXT superstar Cora Jade took to social media to wish the first-ever WWE Women’s Triple Crown winner a happy birthday, and Bayley replied to thank her but also ask for respect since she’s dealing with a bad knee.

“Thanks, suga mama. PS – Please respect me, I am injured with a B.A.K.”

She gave a similar resply to Indi Hartwell, who had added “respect the injured” in her birthday message.

“Thanks, my injury won’t sloan me down.”

As she suffered the injury before the most recent WWE Draft, Bayley is technically a free agent, not assigned to either Raw or SmackDown. With Money in the Bank 2022 coming up soon, fans have been speculating that she could well be the final entrant in the women’s Money in the Bank match, but her latest tweets may have poured cold water on the idea.
