Bayley Explains Reason For Major Non-WWE Project

WWE star Bayley

Bayley has opened up about her major non-WWE project and why now was the right time to take this massive step in her career.

When the story of NXT is written, there will be perhaps no greater example of the brand’s success than Bayley. She rose through the ranks of WWE’s developmental brand to become part of the Four Horsewomen alongside Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks.

Bayley has achieved everything there is to achieve on the main roster, and while she’s currently caught in the midcard on-screen, she’s making major plays behind-the-scenes to help the next generation of female stars.

The Role Model is the brains behind Lodestone, holding her first multi-day seminar with a host of WWE talent, including John Cena, on hand to teach women making their mark on the independent scene.

Bayley Not Keeping Experiences To Herself

Speaking on Lodestone’s YouTube channel, Bayley took time to explain why she created Lodestone and why now was the right time for it:

I think creating Lodestone right now in my career was important because, when you teach, you learn, and when you teach, you grow. I learned that while I was in NXT, when I was the women’s champion, and I was helping these women just starting out, having their first matches, teaching them how to do basic moves.

I felt every time I was able to teach someone something, it taught me something about me as well. I have this career now where I have done all these things and have all this experience and knowledge, and I’m learning from everybody from the top, top, top. There’s not many places to put it, and I don’t want to just keep it inside.

I feel I’m at this place where, luckily, I’m respected in the world of women’s wrestling, and I obviously have the experience. I can either just keep it all to myself and try to keep getting to the top, or, as I’m still getting to the top and still accomplishing goals, share what my journey is like, because we have so much in common.

Sometimes men and women think that they’re alone when they’re trying to make it, and they just can’t get to that next level, but we’ve all been there, and we’ve all had to fight to get to those spots. I think I’m just in a place where I’m ready to share, and I think people are ready to listen to what I have to offer. [h/t WrestleTalk]
