John Cena showing up at a wrestling camp left people in tears of joy.

When you have the ability to make people cry just by showing up somewhere, that’s when you know you have made a huge impact in your life.

WWE legend John Cena spent his 2025 retirement tour giving back to the pro wrestling business that he loves so much. Cena wrestled many times in a WWE ring and appeared all over the world, but he also did things like showing up at TJ Wilson & Natalya’s “Dungeon” wrestling gym, and even Bayley’s wrestlig camp for women’s wrestlers.

The former WWE Women’s Champion Bayley’s Lodestone women’s wrestling camp took place in late December at Flatbacks Wrestling School in Orlando, owned by WWE’s Shawn Spears and Tyler Breeze. At the time, Bayley revealed that one week before his final WWE match, John Cena showed up to watch Bayley and friends for about eight hours.

Wrestler Dani Mo attended Bayley’s Lodestone camp and spoke to the Wrestling Mayhem Show about Cena’s surprising appearance at the event and how he stayed for a long time.

“I just remember looking over my shoulder, I’m like, ‘Oh my God,’ and I was right with Gabby Forza. I was like, ‘Dude, it’s f**king –’ I was like, ‘Cena’s here.’

I was like, ‘Oh my God,’ and then everybody started looking and everybody like, freezes up, people are crying. I’m like, ‘Oh my God, what is happening?’ Everybody gets their s**t together…”

When asked if people fell apart and cried when they saw Cena, Mo responded with this:

“In the moment, I don’t know but by the end, we all cried.”

John Cena’s Presence Made His Biggest Fan Freeze

As Dani Mo revealed more about the reactions to John Cena at Bayley’s Lodestone camp, she spoke about a specific wrestler who is a massive Cena fan.

“I would say the biggest Cena fan in that room that it touched the most was Safire Reed. She is Cena fan, like number one, out of that crew, so I think it was crazy for her, like next level. She just froze… Just, like, head down… I was like, ‘Is she okay?…’ She’s just in the zone. I think she had the most impact in that aspect.

She’s number one Cena fan. They posted a video of them last year going to Wembley when they were out there, and she’s decked out in Cena (gear).”
