Backstage Details On WWE’s Las Vegas WrestleMania Switch

WWE WrestleMania 41 Las Vegas 2025

WWE WrestleMania is going to Las Vegas.

After months of speculation, WWE has finally announced that WrestleMania 41 will be held in Las Vegas on April 19th and 20th 2025. The spectacular will take place at Allegiant Stadium, which also hosted SummerSlam back in 2021.

It was initially believed Minneapolis, Minnesota was the frontrunner, but as more time passed, Vegas became the heavy favourite to land the event.

The announcement means WrestleMania 41 will take place across Easter weekend — something WWE usually tries to avoid.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained why the company changed its policy.

“Easter weekend, that’s what Vegas wanted. Vegas wanted it because, they wanted them in when it’s traditionally not a good weekend for tourism.

That’s the reason they wanted them in, they wanted them in on a weekend that’s not good for tourism, so that they will have a great weekend because lots of people are going to come in.

WWE just wanted to make sure they were away from the (NCAA March Madness) Final Four. There were two dates noted, the first weekend of May and the Easter weekend.

Traditionally WWE has always avoided Easter, but the city of Las Vegas wanted Easter. That’s the deal.”

WWE WrestleMania Heading To London?

Even before the location of WrestleMania 41 was confirmed, speculation had been running wild concerning the event in 2026.

With WWE holding an increasing number of events overseas, an international WrestleMania seems closer than ever to many. To add further fuel to the fire, the Mayor of London has now got involved.

In response, Triple H said he’d love to speak with Sadiq Khan about taking the event to the English capital.
