He’s Back! Major Star Finally Returns To AEW After 420 Days
A dominant star is back in AEW.
This week’s Dynamite saw Kevin Knight issue an Open Challenge for the TNT Championship.
It was answered by none other than Brian Cage, who competed in his first match in All Elite Wrestling since the March 19, 2025, episode of Collision: Slam Dunk Saturday.
Massive AEW Title match on Dynamite
Brian Cage had the upperhand over The Jet in the initial stages of the match. However, Kevin Knight fought back.
At one point, Lance Archer tried to interfere, but Mike Bailey took him out on the floor. Knight and Cage continued their back-and-forth affair, with both men coming close to picking up the victory.
In the end, Kevin Knight reversed Brian Cage’s offense on the turnbuckle and followed up with the UFO Splash to retain his gold.
This win marks Knight’s fourth successful defense as the TNT Champion. He has defeated Claudio Castagnoli, MJF, Hook, and Brian Cage so far.
Post-match, Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey showed their respects to each other before the latter challenged the winner of Darby Allin vs. Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW World Title.
No matter who wins in our AEW World Championship Main Event, @SpeedballBailey WANTS NEXT!
