Alexa Bliss Reflects On WWE Career So Far And Future Goals

Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss thinks she knows why her WWE run has been successful after a decade on the main roster.

It’s been a comeback year for Alexa Bliss, who made a triumphant return to the company at the 2025 Royal Rumble. Bliss missed two years of in-ring action – most of 2023 and all of 2024 – after giving birth to her daughter in November 2023.

Since her return, Bliss has been cheered heavily by WWE fans who like and respect her as a five-time WWE Women’s Champion and a three-time Women’s Tag Team Champion. Bliss has been part of WWE for 13 years, and over the last decade, she’s been a mainstay on the main roster.

There have been rumors that Bliss would align with The Wyatt Sicks group due to her history as an ally (and foe) of Bray Wyatt, but that hasn’t happened yet.

While talking to the Bella Twins on The Nikki & Brie Show podcast, Alexa Bliss spoke about evolving as a character.

“I’ve been signed to WWE for over 13 years, on the main roster almost 10. Time flies so quick, it’s so crazy. I look back, and I’ve been so many different versions of this character, but each one kinda served its purpose for that time period. For me, it was always evolving, it’s hard as a woman in the company to evolve your character and to keep getting booked in spots for matches.”

As she continued, Bliss explained how she plans to keep evolving as a character while also praising the deep WWE roster that allows her to work with different people.

“I think, for me, if I can keep recreating myself, then there’s more opportunity to have storylines with more people on the roster, especially now with so many women coming up. We have literally every type of woman on the roster now, and it’s awesome.”

Alexa Bliss And Charlotte Flair Challenging For Women’s Tag Team Titles At SummerSlam

The current storyline involving Alexa Bliss has seen her form an alliance of sorts with 14-time Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. It’s been an interesting story where the two women, especially Flair, have made it clear that they are not friends, but they work together to try to succeed on SmackDown.

At WWE Evolution, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair failed to win the Women’s Tag Team Titles in a Fatal 4-Way match, but the fans loved the two veterans as a team. Flair, in particular, was cheered heavily, which hasn’t been a regular occurrence for her since she has been a heel for most of her career.

On WWE SmackDown in San Antonio, Charlotte Flair informed Alexa Bliss that they’ll get another shot at the Women’s Tag Team Titles at SummerSlam when they face the champions Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. Flair also beat Rodriguez on SmackDown thanks in part to Bliss getting involved when the referee wasn’t looking.
