Alexa Bliss Returns On WWE SmackDown

The highly-anticipated return of Alexa Bliss took place on WWE SmackDown in a tag team match.

Alexa Bliss returned to the WWE ring at the 2025 Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant, and she received a huge ovation. That’s because Bliss missed two years of in-ring action due to the birth of her daughter and wanting to take a break from her WWE life.

At the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE in Toronto, Alexa Bliss was one of the six women competing for a shot at the Women’s World Title. Even though Bliss didn’t win that night, she had an impressive performance that showed she was back.

Many WWE fans likely wanted to see Bliss in action at WrestleMania 41, too, but she was nowhere to be seen. It was reported that Bliss was being kept off television because she would likely be involved in a storyline with the Wyatt Sicks, but that group was off television due to an injury.

On WWE SmackDown in Dayton, Bliss returned to action in her home state of Ohio as the mystery tag team partner of Women’s US Champion Zelina Vega. The duo of Bliss & Vega beat Chelsea Green & Piper Niven in tag team action. Bliss got the win with a Sister Abigail DDT on Green. The fans loved Bliss, who was in her home state of Ohio.

Even though Bliss was linked to Bray Wyatt in the past and may have a storyline with the Wyatt Sicks group, nothing was hinted at in her tag team match. It also didn’t appear as if Bliss was eyeing the Women’s US Title held by Vega.

Alexa Bliss Wants To Talk To Charlotte Flair

Elsewhere on SmackDown in the women’s division, Charlotte Flair was booed heavily during a promo and was so frustrated that she left the ring.

Following her promo in the ring, Flair was shown walking backstage, looking like she wanted to leave. The SmackDown GM Nick Aldis told Flair to be a leader and not just leave when things don’t go your way. Flair wanted to get into her SUV to head to the airport, but Alexa Bliss was there and told Flair that they should chat. The scene ended there.

Flair is a 14-time Women’s Champion in WWE, while Bliss is a 5-time Women’s Champion, and they both started in WWE around the same time over a decade ago. For the past decade, they have been two of the most prominent female stars in the company. Fans will have to tune in to see what Bliss had in mind for Flair.
