Alexa Bliss Announces Pregnancy
Alexa Bliss has been absent from WWE for a while, however she has now confirmed that she is expecting her first child.
Alexa Bliss has not competed inside the squared circle since she lost against Bianca Belair at the 2023 Royal Rumble. Earlier reports suggested that she is on a hiatus from the company but the former Raw Women’s Champion has disputed that.
Alexa Bliss did, however, reveal that she underwent a procedure earlier this year to remove basal cell carcinoma from her face, but noted at the time there was not a long recovery time for that operation.
In a post today on social media, Bliss has confirmed that her and musician Ryan Cabrera are expecting their first child, in a moment which she admits herself was unplanned.
The new arrival is set to join the family at the end of the year, with no gender naturally being revealed at this stage. Although this doesn’t mean she won’t be appearing on WWE programming in another role, it will no doubt keep her out of action for the remainder of 2023.
It would seem to be the season for wrestling couples to announce their pregnancy, as Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti took the opportunity to do so ahead of The Spanish God’s AEW World Championship match at Double Or Nothing.
