AJ Styles WWE

AJ Styles has broken huge news on tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW.

The Phenomenal One kicked off tonight’s show ahead of his scheduled clash with Gunther at Royal Rumble, which will see him put his career on the line.

The former WWE Champion, who previously announced his plans to retire this year, addressed The Ring General’s plans to end his career this Saturday, stating that he was not going anywhere.

Instead, he pointed out that John Cena has shown him that it could take a year to bid the WWE Universe goodbye, declaring 2026 the year of AJ Styles.

Gunther claims he’s gonna end my WWE career at the Royal Rumble. That is his plan, but I’m not going anywhere. Now, I’ve made it clear. I didn’t hide it from you. I said it loud that 2026 will be the year that AJ Styles retires. Listen, I’m not talking about retirement coz I’m trying to upset you. I’m saying it so we can enjoy it together. John Cena showed me that it could take a year to say goodbye. 2025 was the year of John Cena. There’s no reason that 2026 can’t be the year of AJ Styles. There are locker rooms all over the world that I would love to wrestle one more time. I wanna be world champion one more time.

AJ Styles Challenges CM Punk For The World Heavyweight Championship On WWE RAW

CM Punk confronted The Phenomenal One on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW. The Best in the World showed concern for AJ Styles going into his match with Gunther, pointing out that the stakes were too high.

The 48-year-old did not like Punk questioning his ability to beat The Ring General. He challenged the World Heavyweight Champion to a match tonight in Toronto. While Styles only asked to become number one contender after Royal Rumble if he beats Punk, the latter decided to put his title on the line in their match tonight.
