AJ Lee To CM Punk After WWE RAW: “You’re Supposed To Embrace The Throuple”

AJ Lee made a cheeky remark in response to a post by her husband, CM Punk.

AJ Lee won the Intercontinental Championship from Becky Lynch at the Elimination Chamber PLE on Feb 28.

Lynch and Lee had been feuding since Lee’s return last year, and The Man has since tapped out to Lee’s Black Widow submission on two occasions, first at Survivor Series: War Games, where she lost the bout for her team, and most recently in the aforementioned Intercontinental Title loss.

The following week on Raw, AJ Lee issued an open challenge to the women’s roster and declared that she wants to be a fighting champion.

On the March 9th episode of Raw, a Gauntlet match was scheduled to determine the number one contender for Lee’s Title.

The match featured IYO SKY, Raquel Rodriguez, Ivy Nile, Bayley, Lyra Valkyria, and Asuka. Bayley won the bout in the end by pinning Asuka after all the other women had been eliminated.

Now, Bayley will face AJ Lee for the Intercontinental Title next week on Raw.

AJ Lee Jokingly Responds To CM Punk’s Post

World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk posted the card for his wife, AJ Lee’s title match against Bayley for next week on his Instagram story, captioning it:

Uuuh. What am I supposed to do here?

Punk is likely asking this because he is a good friend of Bayley’s and has been a mentor to her, too, at a stage in her career, and since Lee is his wife, The Best In The World could have trouble rooting against either woman.

Lee took advantage of the opportunity and teased Punk cheekily, asking him to “embrace the throuple.”

Meanwhile, CM Punk is set to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42, and his title belt will be on the line.
