AJ Lee “Unhealthily Invested” In Major WWE Storyline

AJ Lee has revealed the WWE storyline that has gotten her hooked.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee recently talked about the ongoing feud between Asuka and IYO SKY, with Kairi Sane sandwiched in between.

The three Japanese stars were like family, until SKY betrayed them by aligning with Rhea Ripley last year and forming the tag team RHIYO. Kairi Sane and Asuka (The Kabuki Warriors) would feud with RHIYO for months and eventually lose their WWE Tag Team Titles to them on the Netflix Anniversary episode of Raw this year.

Asuka’s abusive treatment of her friend and tag team partner, Kairi Sane, was something that didn’t sit well with IYO SKY, and the Genius Of The Sky has been trying to open Sane’s eyes to the abuse for a while now.

Asuka issued a warning to SKY with a pre-recorded montage that was aired this past Monday on Raw. As the feud escalates, AJ Lee revealed on X that she is really invested in it almost unhealthily.

AJ Lee Will Face Becky Lynch Once Again In a Women’s Intercontinental Title Match At WrestleMania 42

AJ Lee and Becky Lynch have been feuding since the former returned to WWE after a 10-year hiatus.

Lynch lost clean to Lee at Elimination Chamber, and AJ became the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion. The Man ambushed Lee after a title defense she had with Bayley on Raw a few weeks ago, and later demanded a rematch for the title, which Lee obliged to for WrestleMania 42.

The pair met this past Monday again when Lynch gatecrashed Lee’s interview with Michael Cole. They then traded barbs with AJ Lee having the last laugh, saying that she everyones’ favourite wrestler’s favourite wrestler, and alluded to the fact that Lynch’s own daughter prefers AJ Lee to her mother.
