AEW World Tag Team Title Tournament Start Date Confirmed

Details of a new AEW tournament have been confirmed.

At AEW Revolution, Sting and Darby Allin retained the World Tag Team Titles with an utterly chaotic victory over The Young Bucks. The Tornado Tag Team Match saw both Sting and Allin flying through panes of glass and off the stage through tables.

However, with the match already being confirmed as Sting’s last, the win created the need for something of a reshuffle. In the hours after the match, Tony Khan declared the titles vacant and revealed that a tournament would soon be underway to determine new champions.

On the March 9th episode of Collision, Tony Schiavone announced that the tournament will begin on March 16th.

At present, The Young Bucks, Orange Cassidy & Trent Beretta, and FTR have all been confirmed for the tournament.

Huge Match Confirmed For AEW Dynasty

While Revolution remains fresh in the memory, AEW has already announced a huge match for Dynasty on April 21st. The event is the latest addition to the company’s pay-per-view schedule, taking the total figure to nine.

Also on Collision, Bryan Danielson challenged Will Ospreay to a match at Dynasty. The British star was quick to accept, setting up the dream match in St. Louis, Missouri.
