AEW Star Still With Company Despite Signs Of Exit
One AEW star is seemingly still with the company despite many fearing that they’d been let go.
Tony Khan cleared some stars off the AEW roster when their contracts came to an end at the start of 2026. That was followed up by Powerhouse Hobbs leaving the company to make the jump over to WWE. Hobbs debuted for WWE at the Royal Rumble under his new moniker of Royce Keys.
The future of Chris Jericho remains rife with speculation. Jericho has long been linked with a return to WWE, but there’s now a belief that his AEW contract may have been frozen. Jericho remains listed on AEW’s roster page, which is one of the key indicators that he’s still with the company.
Now, the future of another AEW star has been confirmed after they were apparently removed from that same roster page.
Blake Christian Remains With AEW Despite Roster Scare
Fightful Select has reported that after fans noticed that Blake Christian was not listed on either the AEW or ROH roster pages, many believed he was no longer working under Tony Khan or at least was not contracted to either promotion.
Christian then appeared on the February 21st edition of Collision, where he teamed with Lee Johnson in a defeat against The Young Bucks. Fightful has now confirmed that Christian is still under contract with AEW and has been this whole time; no reason was given for why he has disappeared from the roster pages.
