AEW Star Reacts To Suggestion William Regal Was Underappreciated In AEW

William Regal

A current member of the AEW roster has given his thoughts on assertions that William Regal’s advice was not well received in the company.

Former WWE star EC3 recently hit the headlines when he suggested that William Regal admitted that he “immediately” regretted his decision to join AEW with their said to be what Regal considered “maturity issues” with the company’s management.

These comments have led to many adding their own spin on social media but Brian Pillman Jr. has looked to give his view on the notion that Regal’s wisdom and advice were ignored by the majority of the AEW locker room. Responding on social media to someone suggesting that may have been the case, Pillman Jr. wrote:

“This is not entirely true. There are several of us, myself included, who spent multiple hours before TV working with Regal and learning from him. Should there have been more? Maybe, but he and Danielson always had a solid audience around the ring before TV.”

“I know you said “some”, I just didn’t want the narrative to be that he was just standing there preaching to the air. Some days there would be 10 guys out there soaking it in, some days it would just be me and wheeler and Lee. I didn’t mind when his attention wasn’t spread as thin”

It is widely believed that William Regal will be returning to WWE in the new year and that he is now “gone” from AEW following the attack he suffered from MJF.
